Discretionary Management

Discretionary investment management is a perfect solution for clients who:

1) do not have the knowledge of capital markets to make prudent investment decisions

2) do not have the time to properly analyze investment markets on a daily basis, and

3) do not have an interest in actually doing all of this on a daily basis.

Discretionary management can only be provided by licensed portfolio managers. It is an investment service whereby the client retains complete control over how their portfolio is managed, and leaves the day to day decision making to IceCap Asset Management.

Together, the client and investment manager develop an Investment Policy Statement, which details the Return and Risk objectives, along with all investment constraints including Liquidity, Legal, Taxes, Time Horizon, and other unique factors that make achieving the objectives a challenge. Upon detailing your investment objectives and constraints, an appropriate asset mix is recommended that will help you achieve your objectives.
